Crowborough Town Council is asking residents to complete an online survey to give their views about what is important for the development of our town. A working group is currently reviewing the existing document which was published in 2010: Top of the Weald – A Vision for Crowborough.
This vision is important for everyone who wants to see Crowborough thrive, whether they are residents, involved in business, serving the community or visitors to the town. Essentially it shows how we can make the most out of Crowborough.

The survey asks people living in Crowborough to rank seven aims which includes “protect the natural and built environment” and “engaging with our young people”. They survey asks what sport or leisure facilities you use. The Vision Document Working Group also want to know what ideas you have to encourage more visitors.
The Town Council is also interested to know your suggestions to improve transport and therefore the survey asks if any members of your household travel to neighbouring towns to go to work and school, or if you go to Uckfield and Tunbridge Wells to shop or use leisure facilities.
They are also interested to know which sport and leisure facilities you use. The survey asks:
If you could change one thing about Crowborough, what would it be?
There is opportunity to expand on any of your answers at the end of the questionnaire should you wish to do so.

Please do something asap to curtail housing developers from building 3/4/5 bedroom (detached) houses. With a growing town, there needs to be 1 and 2 bedroom homes being built so that younger people get a chance to get on the housing ladder.
