Strictly Come Dancing judge Len Goodman was filming in Crowborough this week.
For his TV programme Len Goodman’s Big Bands he was at the world’s leading saxophone store sax.co.uk on Farningham Road.
The second series of the BBC programme tells the story of the Big Band post World War II. During the filming he interviewed Company Director Jim Cheek who plays in Brighton big band ‘Straight No Chaser’. Jim then taught Len his first saxophone solo for which he was awarded the customary “seven!” points. In return Len signed the wall of the shop with “Sax:– you’re a Ten from Len!”
