A eighteen-year-old man has been charged with the attempted murder after a stabbing in Crowborough on Tuesday (23rd).
Harry Leitch, unemployed, of Sussex View Close, appeared in custody at Brighton Magistrates Court yesterday (Thursday 25th), charged with the attempted murder of a 39-year-old man at that address.
Leitch was remanded in custody until an initial appearance at Lewes Crown Court on 22nd April.
The victim sustained several stabbing injuries and was airlifted to to hospital in London where he remains in is a serious, but stable, condition.
A 37-year-old woman, who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and casing grievous bodily harm, was interviewed and released on police bail until 21st April.
Police have said those involved are known to each other.
