Kate Kent, Chair of the Coro Nuovo said:

The final four perform at the choir’s summer concert. The winner receives £1,000 and the runner up £500.  The other finalists each get £250 so everyone goes home with something!  The winner is also invited perform with the choir at a future concert where they are paid a professional fee.

In October last year Hannah appeared in productions around the UK with the National Gilbert & Sullivan Company and this summer she will tour as Pitti Sing in Mikado.

She says the highlight of her concert platform appearances was a tour of Prague and Budapest as soprano in Mozart Missa Solemnis in C and Schubert’s Mass in F with Bristol University Chamber Choir.  She has also been a guest soloist in concerts with Pendyrus Male Voice Choir.
