Nominate your Sussex Food and Drink favourites

People across Sussex are being asked to nominate their favourite food producers, chefs, shops and restaurants.

Over the past decade the Sussex Food and Drink Awards have encouraged more people to discover and explore local markets and food shops where they can sample the very best local produce and see for themselves why it tastes so much better.

After a hugely successful 10th anniversary year, when over 10,000 people had their say on their foodie favourites, Sussex Food & Drink Awards are now accepting nominations for 2017.

Wealden District Council will once again be sponsoring the Best Sussex Food Shop category.

Councillor Roy Galley, Cabinet member for Economic Development, said:

The Sussex Food & Drink awards are a fantastic opportunity to celebrate our wonderful array of local food and drink producers, markets, restaurants, shops and all those involved with the food and drink industry.  I’ll be especially keen to see who will follow Sharnfold Farm in Stone Cross as being named Best Sussex Food Shop.
