Stolen horse box and a motorcycle recovered in Crowborough

A suspected stolen horse box and a motorcycle have been recovered by Kent Police in Crowborough.

On Sunday 1st April 2018, officers from the Rural Task Force attended a property in Hoadley Lane where they noticed a suspicious vehicle.

Enquiries led to the discovery of a suspected stolen horse box and a motorcycle on false number plates that had been reported stolen from Sevenoaks in 2015.

A 45-year-old man from Tunbridge Wells who was at the address was arrested on suspicion of theft and later bailed to return to the police station on Thursday 26th April.

  1. Hoadleys Lane, the crime centre of Crowborough! It seems these dodgy characters drive along this narrow lane looking for a good, quiet place in the country to carry out their nefarious activities. They don’t realise that there are people living nearby, dog walkers and horse riders regularly passing, and the locals aren’t the country cabbages they assume.
