Passengers to be banned from using e-cigarettes on trains


Southern Rail has announced they are to ban passengers from using e-cigarettes on trains and at its stations.  The rail operator which run trains from Crowborough and Eridge, as well as across Sussex.

Crowborough-Railway-StationThe move will bring Southern and Gatwick Express into line with Thameslink and Great Northern, when they become part of the Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) franchise in July.

Transport for London has also banned vaping on the capital’s bus, tube and train network.

The ban will begin on the 26th July.

Today it has also revealed Wales could soon be the first part of the UK to ban e-cigarettes in enclosed public places if a radical new Bill is passed by the Welsh Assembly.  What do you think about using e-cigarettes in public building and on buses and trains?
