A26 Crowborough to Tunbridge Wells:
Beccie Neubeck told CrowboroughLife on Facebook: Beccie: “The tree has gone. Just driven to TW” Crowborough Life: “How bad are the driving conditions?” Beccie: “Slow but main roads are ok”
08:27 Traffic backed up and very slow moving on A26 at Crowborough to TW going on to Boarshead Roubdabout. — CC (@femalebadger) January 13, 2017

228/228 Bus:
“#Crowborough. Now advised single deck buses passes can pass with care so we will now start to run toward T.Wells but delays expected” 7.27am @Seaford&Dist
Check though, as I’ve heard reports that some buses were not serving some residential streets preferring to remain on the main roads – specifically somebody Tweeted to say the 228/229 was bypassing Broadmead in Tunbridge Wells.
Schools:
Beacon Academy: “The school will be open slightly later to allow for an improvement to road and site conditions. Students are asked to arrive on site by 9.45am and report to their period 2 classroom for registration. Students should only attempt to come in if they feel it is safe to do so.” www.beacon-academy.org
