Roadworks in the Crowborough area in September


Sheep Plain / Hurtis Hill will be closed for drainage repair for two weeks in September.

The route will be closed to through traffic from 9am on Monday 7th September until 4pm on Friday 18th September.

There will be temporary traffic lights on Pine Grove to allow the installation of a pedestrian crossing by the Council Offices. The crossing was one of the conditions attached to planning consent for building the 68 new flats & houses and has to been completed before the new homes can be occupied. The work is scheduled to last for up to 6-weeks from Tuesday 1st September until 13th October.

Also from Monday 7th September to Friday 11th September, South East Water will be carrying out work on London Road. This is to make at new connection to the water main at the new burial ground at Summersales Hill. During the works, traffic to and from Lye Green will be diverted (more).
