The Sewing Crow-Bees in Crowborough are asking for your help to raise £1,000 for the Poppy Appeal.
Since the pandemic started the group have raised thousands of pounds for charity by making different items, including fabric masks and scrubs.
They covered the railings at the Fernbank Centre with knitted poppies for people to take to wear in the run-up to Remembrance Sunday on 14th November.
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is wearing one of their poppies and the post box outside The Post Office on Croft Road has been “yarn-bombed” as a tribute to fallen soldiers.
They are asking for people to make a donation to the Royal British Legion via their Go Fund Me page. Every penny they receive will be sent to charity.
