Many people in Crowborough, particularly rail travellers, will know Spencer Miller. This year he has done sterling work with his involvement with the group set-up to help vulnerable people in the pandemic. More recently he has been promoting local businesses, in what are tough times.
Today, to raise money for Taylor Made Dreams he is wore a Scrooge T-Shirt, tinsel, fairy light and a Christmas hat to work and is now going around town.
This is particularly out-of-character as he freely admits “he doesn’t do Christmas”, and will not normally even wear a hat from a cracker.
Spencer said:
My levels of anxiety don’t usually allow me to make myself noticed, so this is going to be a real challenge
Taylor Made Dreams is a Crowborough-based charity which enables children with life-limiting illnesses to achieve their “bucket list”.
Spencer is also posing for photos (socially-distanced of course) for a minimum donation of £5.
