Raffle tickets are being sold to raise funds for Crowborough Community First Responders – the team of specially trained volunteers that respond to 999 emergencies alongside the ambulance service.
The group relies entirely on donations. As well as responding to medical emergencies, they also provide local defibrillators and run first aid awareness sessions.
Prizes include a family portrait session with Samantha Newson Photography, £50 voucher to spend at Parker Building Supplies, an MOT at BG Motor Services, a meal for two from Bennett’s Fish & Chips and a Pimm’s O’clock sign from Fantisimmo. Raffle tickets cost £1 each and are available from the following places:

From Monday (when lockdown restrictions ease and other establishments open), you will also be able to get your tickets from these other places:

Tickets need to be bought by Friday 23rd April and the draw will take place on Monday 26th April.
Crowborough Area Charity of the Month
Spencer Miller set-up the Facebook page Crowborough Area Charities at the start of this year. This is the fourth charity to be supported. In total over £2,500 has already been raised for Hospice in the Weald, Baby2Baby & Beyond and Taylor Made Dreams. A local charity on the last Monday of the month from a list of nominations. Window stickers promoting our area are also available, these are being sold for charity.
