A pedestrian was airlifted to hospital with serious head injuries after he was in collision with a lorry on the A26 in Crowborough yesterday (Thursday 16th).
Emergency services were called to the scene in Eridge Road at 3.37pm. The 24-year-old local man was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton by air ambulance where he remained on Friday morning.
The 32-year-old driver of the Volvo tipper truck involved was uninjured.
