Local tattooist Richie Holden will be opening his own studio in Crowborough in June.
After building a strong following at his last studio in Redhill, Richie wanted to bring his work nearer to home.
Richie told CrowboroughLife the popularity of tattoos is at an all time high and many people are decorating their bodies with a variety of designs:
I enjoy giving advice and bringing customers plans together by listening to their ideas then creating a unique design that will work best for them. Best size and placement is always important as well as colours and shading to bring to life.
It is a big decision to get a permanent mark on your body so should not be rushed into, without thinking it through. Keeping to areas that are easily covered is always wise as not all work places tolerate staff with tattoos on view.
When choosing your tattoo artist always look through their portfolio of recent work and get an idea of what they are capable of. Recommendation is always best as you get an idea of the experience somebody else has had and can see the outcome. Also make sure the artist and studio are licensed under the local authorities as this means they have met all hygiene requirements .
“Crow Cross Tattoos” will open at Unit 3 Sussex House on Park Lane. Richie will be working alongside his wife Luanna on reception.
Richie specialises in custom tattoos and cover-up work, as well as everyday popular designs, usually with an original creative twist.
