Connells in Tunbridge Wells is excited to announce the launch of two new show homes, ‘The Noble Fir’ and ‘River Birch’, at The Nightingales in Crowborough.

The Nightingales is a prestigious development of two, three and four bedroom houses by Riverdale Developments at Walsh Manor. Phase 1 is sold out and Phase 2 is selling fast.

There are a variety of homes available, all built to a high standard and benefiting from fully integrated fitted kitchens, cutting-edge electrical fittings, and the homebuyers’ choice of carpeting and flooring throughout.

‘The Nobel Fir’ is one of the four bedroom detached homes and ‘River Birch’ is one of the three bedroom homes on offer.

The new show homes will be open for ‘Covid-secure’ viewings from Saturday 27th February. Connells is encouraging potential buyers to get in touch to book an appointment, as viewings are strictly by appointment only to ensure staff and buyers’ safety.

Sales have exceeded expectations and the development has been extremely well received by buyers resulting in a hugely successful year. Due to the high demand for these beautiful family homes, we advise any interest is registered as soon as possible.

Stephen Lightfoot, New Homes Partner at Connells

Each high-quality home at The Nightingales has been carefully designed to provide the utmost space, style and comfort. The exteriors are constructed from specially selected materials that complement the local environment, while the interiors enjoy a high-specification finish that perfectly caters for modern life.

Adjacent to the development is Walshes Park. The District Council have worked with landscape and ecological experts to retain the character of the former grazing land whilst encouraging more wildlife. A boardwalk and bridges across the brook, near the site of the former medieval moated building Walsh Manor, makes the countryside easily accessible. The old droveway across the top of the site, gives breath-taking views in all directions across the High Weald.

  1. ‘Prices start at £450,000′. For a two bed home? Not exactly first time buyer bait then. Usual thing. Crowborough continues to become a middle class, middle age ghetto . Hardly any social housing, and even those in their 30s hoping to stop renting and buy at last are excluded. Who will buy these new houses? Those coming from even more expensive areas who have made plenty from their sale to easily afford this kind of development. And estate agents no doubt are rubbing their hands with glee. More crowded roads, doctors’ surgeries, station platforms in rush hour, schools, high street (if any is left after Covid), and all the misery of a town extended beyond its capacity to absorb, without the infrastructure increased proportionately. And Wealden Planning North in the meantime will pour on more and more of this.
