Jarvis Brook FC win the Brian Hall Challenge Cup


Last night Jarvis Brook III Mid Sussex Football League beat Handcross Village III by 4 goals to 2 at the Colwell Ground in Haywards Heath, and were awarded the Brian Hall Challenge Cup for coming top in Division 9 in the League.

Callum Stonebrook scored an early goal, followed by Liam Edwards much to the delight of the many supporters present.
The score was 2-0 to JB at Half Time with Handcross scoring two goals in quick succession at the beginning of the second half.
After a tense half Jarvis Brook finally finished 4-2 up with goals from Ollie Hyland and Jay Cooper.
Mark Overton and Andy Cooper, the teams coaches were extremely pleased with the win as was Team Captain James Pett!
Jarvis Brook Football Club are one of the oldest clubs in the area having been founded in 1888.  Jarvis Brook Juniors are having a Taster Session for children aged under 6 on 15th May.
