Jarvis Brook Community Association wants residents to complete a short online survey about their experiences of living in the area.
Responses to the survey will be used by the group working to convert JBs into a community centre and data will be used in the preparation of a new Neighbourhood Agreement for the next three years. Last time a similar survey was completed around 100 surveys were returned from the 400 or so households in Jarvis Brook.
Members of Groundworks asked people attending the Community Fun Day on 4th July to complete the questionnaire in person. Groundworks is a charity working with the Community Association on the redevelopment of JBs.
Each response received will be entered into a prize draw with a chance to win a £50 shopping voucher.
The survey asks about what facilities and activities should be provided in the community, such as youth clubs and social groups for older people. The Association also would like to know about your experiences of crime & anti-social behaviour, and the survey asks what you think the local policing priorities should be for Jarvis Brook. There are also questions about your use of buses and any issues about car parking.
The survey can be completed here: www.wealden.gov.uk/jarvisbrook.
