Update: Road should re-open on Friday 16th March.
At 7am on Monday (26th February), drainage repairs are due to start on Hurtis Hill in Crowborough at the junction with Harlequin Lane.
Due to the nature of the works, the junction will be closed to traffic 24 hours a day. There will be no access to through traffic along Hurtis Hill / Sheep Plain from Crowborough to/from A26. The works are weather dependent.
The 28/29 bus service between Tunbridge Wells and Brighton will be diverted along Church Road and down the A26 Beacon Road. Bus stops on Croft Road (at the end of Southview Road/United Church), Whitehill Road (Bricklayers Arms, Rose Court) and Hurtis Hill will not be served during the work (more).

Burnt Oak Road: There will also be water main work on Burnt Oak Road in High Hurstwood.
A26 Heron’s Ghyll: The overnight closure of the A26 between High Hurstwood and the Budletts Roundabout have been postponed because of the weather.
