Doors smashed at Lidls in Crowborough

0

Police were called to Lidls in Crowborough after the glass door at the main entrance had been smashed.

A member of staff raised the alarm after finding a rock had been thrown through the doors.  The incident occured between the time of the supermarket closing on Saturday night (28th October) and early Sunday morning when staff reported for work.

Nothing had been stolen from the store and officers are therefore treating the matter as a case of criminal damage.

If you saw anyone acting suspiciously in the vicinity of Lidl’s car park on Beacon Road that night, please contact Sussex Police or phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
