Music festival at Eridge Park has been cancelled

Update:  Organisers of Forgotten Fields have announced that the festival has been cancelled.  A statement on their website reads:

It’s with heavy hearts that we let you know news of this cancellation and would like to thank you for your support of the event.

Due to the rising costs of producing a quality event of this size, we are unable to produce a show that is of the standard both our team and customers would be proud of.

After thorough consideration of the event and exhausting all options we have sadly reached this conclusion. It was an exceptionally difficult decision to make and hasn’t been taken lightly.

We had a truly amazing time and weekend to remember in 2015, lifelong memories shared with lovely people in the fields, and we wish all the festival goers and team well for the coming festival season.

It has just been announced that Suede and Dizzee Rascal are the headline acts at the Forgotten Fields festival on the Kent/East Sussex border.

Forgotten Fields 2016Forgotten Fields returns to Eridge Park after sell-out debut in 2015.

Also appearing this year are R’n’B superstar Kelis alongside US hip hop legends The Sugarhill Gang and Irish rock band Kodaline.

Organisiers are promising an ‘After Dark’ tent which will go on to ‘well into the early hours’.  The festival is on from Friday 5th to Sunday 7th August.
