Five people arrested for drug offences in Crowborough

Yesterday five people were arrested, and a quality of drugs were seized, at a house in Crowborough.

Officers from Sussex Police carried out a warrant under the Misuses of Drugs Act at an address in Harecombe Rise just after 8.30am on Thursday 2nd March.

A quantity of drugs were discovered within the property as well as in a car parked outside on the road.   Five people, all from Crowborough, were arrested:

  • A 39-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs, as well as money laundering offences.
  • A 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs.
  • A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs and money laundering offences.
  • A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs.
  • A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis.

All five have been released on police bail until 31st May while enquiries continue.
