This morning over 30 people gathered at Crowborough War Memorial for the first anniversary of the invasion of Ukraine.

Crowborough residents were joined by several Ukrainian families living in the town.
Pete Winstone, Curate at All Saints Church, led the group in an act of remembrance and reflection followed by one minute’s silence.
Afterwards, coffee was served in All Saint’s Hope Café. The weekly Café serves as a hub for Ukrainian families to support each other, integrate with the community and learn English.
