The two men who died in a car crash in Crowborough have been named as Michael Owen and Kyle Careford.
The two friends died shortly after midnight when the red Renault Clio they were travelling in mounted the pavement and overturned outside St Michael & All Angels Church in Jarvis Brook. It appears the car had just passed under the railway bridge and was travelling towards Rotherfield.
Both men were originally from Tunbridge Wells, but both had been staying in Crowborough.
Michael was 21, and it would have been Kyle’s 21st Birthday this week. Mr Owen had a four year-old daughter.
