Crowborough, East Sussex TN6
Crowborough Leisure Centre is launching a new series of subsidised BuggyPower classes having recently been awarded funding from Sportivate. The classes will take place every Thursday 9.30 – 10.30am.
The BuggyPower classes are part of an 8-week Sportivate funded course aiming to get more women into exercise. They offer the opportunity for mums to do some gentle exercise with their toddlers and babies. The sessions will be led by a qualified instructor and will incorporate walking, jogging, stretching and light resistance work.
Natasha Brown, Freedom Leisure Community Sports Development Officer said:
We’re excited to be expanding our timetable with the launch of the new BuggyPower classes. They enable parents to get back into exercise without having to find child care. The fun, friendly classes also offer the opportunity to get to know other local mums and socialise.
Sessions will cost £3 per person. Spaces for the new class will be available on a first-come-first-served basis.
