Stephanie Metcalfe, 29, of Ghyll Road, was stopped by police whilst driving a White Suzuki Swift.
When breathalysed she was found to have 111 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 milliliters of breath, over three times the prescribed limit.
She pleaded guilty to the offence at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on 19th March. Miss Metcalfe was disqualified from driving for 24 months. She was also ordered to pay a £615 fine, £85 costs and a £60 victim surcharge. Her disqualification will be reduced if she satisfactorily completes an approved rehabilitation course.
