Update:  At the meeting of the Full Council on 24th January 2017, Councillors (by an 11-4 vote) decided on an increase of 3.07%.

Next Tuesday (10th January) Crowborough Town Council will discuss the budget for the next financial year 2017-18.

Council-Tax-BillIt is proposed that the Town Council’s share of the total Council Tax bill (precept) be increased from £151.55 to £157.86 for an average Band D property.  This represents a £6.31 increase or 12 pence per week (4.17%).

This is the higher of two proposals ‘on the table’ and includes additional salary costs to be discussed at the meeting.
