Crowborough Netball are running a series of fun and friendly netball matches from May to July.
The Fun Summer Games are aimed at returners, players who have not played for a while or new players, anyone over 16 who would like to play netball.
Coach Sibylla Woods said:
Of all the Crowborough players the longest time out of the game is 34 years, from 16 – 50!If players enjoyed it at school, then they will enjoy it now. It’s a great way to get fit.Crowborough Netball run a Back 2 Netball session with Freedom Leisure at Crowborough Leisure Centre on a Thursday morning from 10.30 – 11.30am which costs ÂŁ5 and is a turn-up and pay and play session. These B2N sessions resume on Thursday 16th April.Crowborough Netball will also be running some “warm-up” pay and play sessions on a Monday evening, on the outside court at Goldsmiths Recreation Ground, before the Fun Summer Games start. The dates for these are 13th April, 20th April and 27th April from 6.30pm til it gets dark.During the Summer Games four teams will play each other three times over the nine week period. Games will either be at 7 pm or 8 pm on a Monday evening (teams will have matches at both times).It costs ÂŁ36 per player, (which works out at ÂŁ4 per match to take part, and you can join as an individual or with a friend or in a group. If you can commit for all the games you can register as a substitute.If anyone is interested, they can contact Sibylla by emailing hello@crowboroughnetball.com or for an informal chat call her on 07931 980377.
