Police Officers on a routine patrol in Tunbridge Wells on Friday night arrested a 21-year old Crowborough man for possessing cannabis and an offensive weapon.
The officers were patrolling Fir Tree Road at around 11.50pm when they spotted a vehicle with a man sitting in it acting suspiciously.
The patrol approached the black Audi A3 and spoke with the occupant of the vehicle. They noted a smell of cannabis and as a result of this the occupant admitted being in possession of two bags of cannabis. The officers also found a knuckle duster within the car.
The man was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and possession of cannabis. He was later given a police caution for the offences.
