This outstanding amount has been raised by Members and Guests of the Golf Club through 2019 by a variety of different events.

Both charities were ‘thrilled’ with the amounts raised and spoke about how the money will be used. Nicki Pointer, Team Leader for the Crowborough CFR said:

Thrilled to have received this amazing amount of money through donations at Crowborough Beacon Golf Club, we were the chosen charity of Alma the ladies captain. This money will go into placing more AEDs in our community, potentially saving more lives.

This year is the Crowborough Beacon Golf Club’s 125th Anniversary and the incoming Captains have elected Anthony Nolan and Breast Cancer UK as their charities for 2020 and they hope to raise a similar sum throughout the year.
