Crowborough fire crews have rescued a fox stuck down a 20ft sewage tank.
Two crews from Crowborough helped rescue the fox yesterday afternoon (1st December) in Whitegates Lane, Wadhurst.

The purpose-built Animal Rescue Unit based in Crowborough, known as the uni-mog was dispatched at around 2.30pm.
This 4×4 vehicle is fitted with a hydraulic crane, capable of lifting farm animals from open water and ditches.
It took firefighters until 4.12pm to lift the animal to safety with the assistance of a dog grasper, which is a piece of equipment that has a noose on the end, often seen being used to retrieve dangerous dogs.
