Crowborough Elections

The names of the candidates for the local elections on 2nd May have been published.

The public will elect Councillors to serve on Crowborough Town Council and Wealden District Council.  The election is being conducted using new electoral boundaries.

Wealden District Council

Six Councillors will be elected to Wealden District Council to represent the six wards in Crowborough:

Crowborough Town Council

Crowborough Town Council is made up of sixteen Councillors representing six wards.  Elections will only need to be held in Crowborough Central and Crowborough Jarvis Brook, where the number of candidate exceeds the number of seats.  In other wards the Councillors will be elected unopposed.  In due course the Council will decide to fill the three vacancies by co-option.

If you wish to see the candidates for neighbouring parishes they can be downloaded from Wealden District Council’s website.  The statements are listed alphabetically by ward.  They also give the candidates full name, the home address of the candidate and the people that nominated them.
