A group of builders merchants, which includes Parker Building Supplies and Chandlers Building Supplies, are celebrating the success of their charity gala dinner in Crowborough for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

The night at Crowborough Rugby Club raised £1,400 for the charity, taking the Independent Builders Merchant Group’s (IBMG) grand total for the Teenage Cancer Trust to an impressive £16,800.

It was a great night, with a full house, raffle and auction prizes helping to add to our TCT charity funds.

We’ve been really invested in the Teenage Cancer Trusts’ three-month fundraising challenge. We smashed our initial target so we are all very happy about that and we had enormous fun along the way.

Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 hear the words “you have cancer”.

Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to meeting the needs of teenagers and young people, as well as funding specialist nurses and hospital units within the NHS to provide the very best clinical care.
