A local Vauxhall dealership is showing their support to Crowborough Athletic Youth FC’s Under-7 age group, through a sponsorship programme for a second year.
Supporting grass roots sports as part of the Vauxhall Youth Football programme, SLM Vauxhall on the North Farm Industrial Estate in Tunbridge Wells has provided the team with a brand new kit and accessories worth up to £500 for upcoming tournaments.
Jonathan Tatlock, General Manager at SLM Vauxhall, comments:
We are so pleased to be sponsoring Crowborough Athletic Youth FC for a second year, as the club and its grounds are at the heart of our local community. As a family-owned dealer group, we strongly believe that contributing to the community makes a big difference.
As a volunteer driven club, Crowborough Athletic FC relies on support from the local community and businesses. SLM Vauxhall hopes to inspire businesses alike to invest in sports clubs and make a difference in their local area.
Team Manager, Sharon Hammond, said:
Wearing the club’s kit is really important to the children as it gives them a huge sense of pride. It’s fantastic that businesses like SLM Vauxhall support us, as it means we can save money on kits and equipment and invest in other areas to make the games the best possible experience for the children.
Training for the Minis (under 10s) takes place at Wolfe Recreation Ground every Saturday morning during the football season. For more details see the Club’s website: www.pitchero.com/clubs/crowboroughathletic.
