Crowborough Life produces a Newsletter to keep residents up-to-date with what is going locally.

If you choose to subscribe, your email address will only be used by us for this purpose and will never be passed to any third parties.

You can choose to comment on articles, by adding additional relevant information and your views at the bottom.

Crowborough Life moderates comments made by readers before they are displayed on the website.

We welcome different opinions and debate, but personal attacks, obscene or hurtful language, or anything that is considered objectionable or that may put us (and the reader) in legal jeopardy will not be approved. Comments that are off-topic will not be approved.

People who choose to submit comments have to enter a name and an email address, or alternatively log-on using WordPress or one of their social media accounts.  We also record the IP Address of the device they are using.

We will explain why we have felt it necessary not to approve the comment – thereby giving the reader the opportunity to edit what they want to say and the language they have used.  The email address and IP Address is not displayed (only the person’s name and their comment).  Personal information will not be disclosed to any other party without prior permission or unless we are required to do so by law.

We have turned-on Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting to get an idea of users demographics (age and gender) and interests.  We will use the data to develop the site and its contents.

You can opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customize Google Display Network ads using the Ads Settings.  In addition, you can use the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on to disable tracking by Google Analytics.

Google uses the the DoubleClick cookie on your browser to work-out which adverts you’ll find most interesting.  You can modify the Ads Settings in order to update your interests, age and gender, or remove unwanted ads.
