Car Fire on Park Road

Firefighters from Crowborough were called to reports of a car alight at a building site on Park Road this morning.

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were called at 6.46am on Thursday 28th August.

Firefighters using breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet quickly put the fire out.

The fire is believed to have started accidentally.

Sussex Police are however still investigating vehicle fire on Forest Dene which is believed to be an arson attack.

Crowborough and the surrounding villages of Blackness, Boars Head, Hurtis Hill, Jarvis Brook, Lye Green, Poundfield, Rotherfield, St Johns, Steel Cross, Steep, Stone Cross, Sweethaws, The Warren and Whitehill
