Break-in at Crowborough saxophone store

532 which is based on Farningham Road in Crowborough was broken into on Saturday night. saxophone store on Farningham Road in Crowborough with police car outside32 saxphones were stolen with a retail value of approximately £72,000.

It appears that the thieves prised apart a series of metal security fences at the back of the industrial estate.  They pulled-out a window to gain entry and after the raid smashed their way-out through the foyer.

The break-in occured sometime after 5pm on Saturday evening.  Managing Director Christine Straker said:

We believe the thieves know the area as they entered the premises from the alleyway behind.  We have also had reports of suspicious actions by the garages in Windsor Place, which would all add up.

The saxophone’s cases were not taken in the burglary.
