Thirteen budgerigars and two cockatiels have been stolen from a garden in Crowborough.
The thieves pulled fencing down at the corner of the property in Adam Close and broke the lock to the aviary to steal the birds and take eggs.
The birds were taken sometime between 10pm on Thursday night (12th) and before 8.30am on Friday morning (13th).
The 14 budgies that were taken were a combination of different colours. One cockatiel was male and the other one female.

The male cockatiel is 20 years old and has huge sentimental value. Nicola Reed said:
I would know my cockatiel Ollie a mile off. He whistles the Laurel and Hardy song. He also purrs when asked. Bless him. Some of the budgies I adopted from Raystede near Uckfield not so long ago.
We know the possibility of getting them back are slim, but if anyone knows anything especially for Ollie please please message me.
This is a dreadfully cruel crime. Poor birds and poor owners. Surely someone must have some information?
