Students, staff and trustees at Beacon Academy in Crowborough are celebrating after receiving their latest Ofsted report.
The results of the Academy’s rigorous two-day inspection in December 2022, recently published, praised the school’s “ambitious and challenging” curriculum along with the school’s “skilled” and “expert” teachers.
Beacon Academy continues to be a good school. There is enough evidence of improved performance to suggest that the school could be judged outstanding if we were to carry out a graded (section 5) inspection now. The school’s next inspection will be a graded inspection.
Beacon Academy is a welcoming school with a tangible community feel. Leaders encourage high quality learning in this ambitious and successful academy. Pupils achieve very high standards.Extracts from Ofsted’s school report
