Proposed footpath diversion at Beacon Academy

0

It has been proposed that a footpath that runs through Beacon Academy’s East Beeches site be diverted to improve the school’s ability to manage access and improve the safety of students.

The public Right of Way (footpath 63b) runs between the Poundfield Path and East Beaches Road.  Rather than running through the car park it is proposed that the path be diverted behind the Creative Learning Centre and the caretakers bungalow.

A tarmac footpath between 2 and 2.5 metres wide will be provided with low level lighting.
