Banned for drug-driving

James Stevenson 29, of Wealden Close in Crowborough, has been fined £285 and banned after admitting drug-driving in court.

He had over three-times the legal limit of cannabis in his blood when stopped by police on 31st August in Lancing.  Mr Stevenson had 6.2 microgrammes per litre (mg/l) of Delta-9-tetrahydrocannibinol in his blood; a driver tests positive for having more than 2mg/l.

In addition to his fine he must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.  He was disqualified from driving for 12 months.
