Elections to East Sussex County Council and for the Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner are being held on Thursday 6th May.

Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner

Five candidates hope to become the Sussex Police & Crime Commissioner.

They are the incumbent and four challengers.

The PCC holds the Chief Constable to account for the performance of the police force, effectively making the police answerable to the communities it serves.

At the last election in 2016, the turnout was just 23%.
