Survey of rail commuters

The Wealden Bus Alliance, working with the Sussex Community Rail Partnership, is carrying-out a survey of railway passengers to work-out if there is sufficient demand for an early morning and evening commuter bus service.

From Tuesday 3rd May, volunteers will be handing-out flyers outside three railway stations (Buxted, Crowborough and Uckfield).  The online survey asks passengers which trains they usually catch to and from London.

Chairman of the Wealden Bus Alliance, Wealden District Councillor for Uckfield Ridgewood, Barry Marlowe said:

We believe a commuter bus service could help alleviate some of the on street parking congestion around these stations.

Our survey helpers will be handing out leaflets showing how to quickly access the survey either via a QR code or by using the internet address.
