The GP-led group which commissions health services along with East Sussex County Council are holding an event in Crowborough to give local people the chance to share their views on health and care services and how to best meet the needs of the community in the future.
The focus of the ‘Shaping Health and Care’ event will be on ways to improve unplanned care, proposed changes to the 111 service and ways to improve care and support for people living with frailty.
The event will also be an opportunity to discuss the new Connecting 4 You programme, which is being developed to improve and transform health and social care services for the years ahead.
Hugo Luck, Associate Director of Operations at High Weald Lewes Havens CCG, said:
We want to improve health and social care for all local residents and the only way we can do this is with the help of those who know the best – the patient, public and carers. They are the ones who know how services can best meet their needs so we want to ensure their views and experiences are heard, acted on and influence the way health and care is planned and delivered now and in years to come.
‘Shaping Health and Care’ is at the Crowborough Community Centre on Wednesday 6th September from 1pm until 4pm.
Anyone interested in attending the event, can book a place by calling Cheryl Smith on 01273 403644 or online at here.
