Georgia Allison appointed Lord-Lieutenant’s Cadet for East Sussex

Crowborough Air Cadet Squadron held their annual presentation evening last week.

The event was attended by the Mayor of Crowborough and representatives from the Crowborough Branch of the Royal British Legion and Crowborough Lions.

  • RBL Award for Best All Round Newcomer: Taylor Baker
  • Most Promising Cadet: Erin Hoad
  • Most Improved Cadet (presented by the Mayor Cllr Peter Ellefsen): Cpl Tom Hooper
  • OC Commendation for Outstanding Contribution to the Squadron (presented by WO Mark Hobbs ATC): FS Sam Brotherton
  • Best Sporting Cadets: FS Georgia Allison and Sgt Lewis Clark
  • Best NCO (presented by Sqn Ldr Mark Milligan): Sgt Lewis Clark
  • Comms Cadet of the Year: (presented by FS Nick Collins, Sussex Wing Radio and Communications Officer): Tom Lamb
  • Cadet of the Year (presented by Sqn Ldr Mark Milligan): FS Georgia Allison

In addition, on 10th October FS Georgia Allison became one of the Lord Lieutenant’s Cadets for East Sussex.  Along with four others, Georgia was chosen from over 4,000 cadets from across East Sussex and Brighton and Hove to fill this prestigious role during the next year.
