The 2014 Summer Fun Day will take place on Saturday 31st May in Crowborough Town Centre from 9.00 am until 5.00 pm.
This event is one of the most eagerly anticipated days of the Crowborough calendar and last year attracted an estimated 5,000 people to the town centre.
It is organised by the Crowborough Chamber of Commerce.
Once again they have invited the ever popular French Market, there will be a magician, Punch and Judy, bouncy castle and professional face painters, music, food stalls and much more.
All the attractions are free of charge however collection boxes will be situated around the town. All donations will be passed on to the Chamber’s chosen charity The Crowborough Community First Responders.
Community First Responders (CFRs) are members of the community who are specially trained to assist their local ambulance service. They are unpaid volunteers who provide a vital service, for more information about the CFRs please visit their website.
Please note the High Street, The Broadway and Croft Road (beyond Waitrose) will be closed to traffic throughout the day to enable the event to go ahead. Access with be also be restricted to the one ways streets of Nevill Road and New Road.
Bus Service 29 will divert via Church Lane and Beacon Road all day up until 7pm. And the 228/9 will run via Beacon Road and Mill Lane.
