Freedom Leisure has launched a new series of subsidised BuggyPower classes at Crowborough Leisure Centre on a Thursday morning.
The BuggyPower classes are part of an 8-week Sportivate funded course aiming to get more women into exercise. They offer the opportunity for mums to do some gentle exercise with their toddlers and babies. The sessions are led by a qualified instructor and will incorporate walking, jogging, stretching and light resistance work.
Freedom Leisure Community Sports Development Officer Natasha Brown said:
We’re excited to be expanding our timetable with the launch of the new BuggyPower classes. They enable parents to get back into exercise without having to find child care. The fun, friendly classes also offer the opportunity to get to know other local mums and socialise.
The classes will take place every Thursday between 9.30 and 10.30am. Sessions cost £3 per person.
