Dressed for Success

The Mayor of Crowborough has awarded the trophy for the Best Dressed Christmas Window to Jarvis Brook Bakery.

Councillor Ron Reed awarded the engraved cup to co-owner Vanessa Jennings this morning and the trophy was proudly positioned in the window.

After looking at all shops on the shortlist, Cllr Reed was particularly impressed by theBakery-Window Bakery’s window because of the appropriately themed ‘Merry Christmas’ banner with gingerbread men and Christmas puddings.  The window has an eye-catching display which enhances the festive goodies sold by the bakery.  You can check-out photos of other shops on the CrowboroughLife Facebook page.

As the Mayor was arriving this morning, Vanessa’s son William, who played a key role getting the window ready this year, was giving the glass a good polish to make it look its best.
