The vacancy was brought-about by the death of Mayor Antony Quin who had represented Crowborough on Wealden District Council for 15 years.

7th May

The successful candidate will join Cllr Diane Phillips in presenting the ward, along with seven other District Councillors for Crowborough.  The person elected tomorrow, will however have to re-stand on 7th May, if they wish to continue as a Councillor.  This is because scheduled elections will be held for all Town and District Councillors for Crowborough on the same day as the general election.
