Ollie Turner-Moore, who is 12, has been crowned the Male Under 14 Overall Champion for 2016 in the London and South East Regional Snowsports Association event.

In the five races this year, Ollie was placed on the podium at each race, winning a gold medal, two silvers and two bronzes.  He clinched the title by two points on Sunday at the final slalom race of the season on the Brentwood dry ski slope.

Older brother Seb, who is 14, grabbed third place overall in the Male Under 16 category with a determined display in his three individual timed runs and head-to-head dual slalom runs on Sunday.

Their father Ben said:

Both Ollie and Seb started skiing at the age of five, initially on family holidays.

They love it and took up racing a few years ago. They are members of Bowles Ski Racing Club in Crowborough and train for two hours every Friday night on the slope at the outdoor centre.

What they’ve achieved this season is brilliant and a great reward for their dedication and hard work at training.
