A Christmas single has been released to raise money and awareness for Crowborough based charity Taylor-Made Dreams.
The charity was founded by the mother of a Crowborough teenager Taylor Mitchell, who died of a rare nerve disorder in September 2011, aged just 15. Taylor was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis Type 2, which caused tumours to form in his brain and spine.
After the death of her son, Suzi Mitchell founded Taylor Made Dreams to help other terminally-ill youngsters complete their “bucket list”.
The song features around 30 talented singers, musicians and performers from Sussex and Kent. Collectively they are calling themselves The Acoustic Reverbs. “It’s Christmas Time” was produced by Simon Scardanelli and was composed by James Morris.
James said the song:
Captures the nostalgia and excitement of that feeling of Christmas when you were a child and embodies all the festive elements of the classic Christmas songs of the 70’s and 80’s.
The song has been released as a limited edition CD or can be downloaded from iTunes and Amazon.
They’ll also be a launch party on Friday 28th November at The Forum in Tunbridge Wells.
